About the Role
Our client is seeking qualified and experienced Accountants to join their fast-paced accountancy team. Responsibilities:
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with HMRC, EU, and UK local regulations.
Conduct research and assist in tax preparation.
Perform a variety of financial functions such as accounting, management accounts, payroll, bookkeeping and tax preparation.
Manage clients' accounting records.
Provide expert compliance, tax and management accountancy advice and consultation services to a portfolio of clients, offering sound professional input to enhance business performance
Work with existing head office, training and onboarding teams to assist and support group of bookkeepers, junior accountants and new starter accountants.
Understand the business structure and franchisee relations and provide full support
Interpret, inform and effectively communicate financial data and implications of business decisions to non-financial managers
Ensure clients are compliant with respect to accounting standards and tax legislation · Assist clients in negotiating and securing funding to support business expansion plans or special projects
Maintain strong client relations and proactively seek to establish working relationships with prospective clients
Work closely with clients to formulate, implement and monitor strategic plans, including business expansion and succession planning
Attend networking events and proactively identify and progress business development opportunities
